A psychic vampire (energy vampire) is one who pulls and gains energy from other people. By doing so, it leaves the other person feeling drained and exhausted. We all have come across these people in our lives. Be on guard with these types of people, by limiting the power they gain from you.
You may be asking; how do I limit these people in my life? I'm glad you asked.
Keep your conversations short, giving those people very little to feed off of. Learn to politely separate yourself from these people. When you see them, just simply excuse yourself by stating you have somewhere very important to be (because your time in life is very finite and you cannot get back).
Let's expand on this by giving you an example.
Dandapani talks about energy vampires by explaining, which he learned through his Guru, to learn how to be affectionately detached. Be polite, but just do not engage with them. So, if you are walking down the street and see Negative Nancy walking your way, what do you do? Do you immediately walk across the street to avoid them? No, that is rude and will be spotted by Negative Nancy. Stay your course, take a deep breath, and when your path cross and she tries to stop you. You simply say to her, Hello (negative) Nancy. I do not have time to speak right now, as I have somewhere very important to be. But I hope you have a wonderful day today.
Affectionate, short, and sweet. Distance yourself as fast as possible from them, politely.
Speak the truth, as none of this is a lie to Negative Nancy. Time is the most finite resource we have and should be viewed as money. We do not just give money to everyone, nor should we give away energy to people. With that in mind, everything you do should be important to your energy and uplift you as much as possible in life.
Lies we tell.
Hello (negative) Nancy. It's nice to see you. (LIE)
Hello (negative) Nancy, I'm very busy right now. Let's grab lunch later. (LIE)
Maybe we can meet up later on and talk (LIE)
Why do we do this, and why are these lies so casual? Why do we say things, we know are not true? Think about it. What do all these little lies do for both our nervous system and our subconscious mind? I'm betting nothing good, as it creates negative karma, that Will come back to us. It's best to be polite and honest, by affectionately detaching yourself from them.
Choose your words carefully.
Words have power, and words do come back to haunt us if we are not careful. This is why learning and identifying those people in your life, and having a script to fall upon, so not to get frustrated and get caught up in their vortex, and drain you of much of your energy.
Short, sweet, and affectionately polite.
Over time it will run its course and on a subconscious level, the other person will pick up on it. Let it run its course. Be patient with yourself. What you focus on grows. So put your focus on energy upliftment in your life moving forward.
