Proteins for Daily Energy and Things to Avoid That Depletes Energy

Proteins are a good energy source. They also dim hunger the most and are very satiating. Giving us a feeling of feeling fuller, longer, while still experiencing energy to help us get through our day.


Good Breakfast foods.

List for Vegans and Vegetarians:

  • Spinach

  • Kale

  • Boiled Peas

  • Lentils (soy-free, gluten-free)

  • Black Beans (soy-free, gluten-free)

  • Quinoa (soy-free, gluten-free)


Other Options for Healthy Proteins are:

  • Apple or Banana with a spoonful of Peanut Butter. Peanut butter slows down the absorption of sugar found in fruits.

  • almonds and walnuts

  • Yogurt plain, low sugar

  • Apple with turkey or smoked salmon



Things to avoid that depletes your energy:

Sweet starches = "sugar crash" foods and our not sustaining.

  • Doughnuts

  • Waffles

  • Pancakes

It's important to keep our energy and health up in life. Health is our biggest wealth.
