How to Ground Yourself Through the 5-4-3-2-1 Method for Entrepreneurs
Pursuing entrepreneurs can be overwhelming initially, causing much unnecessary anxiety as we learn new tools and platforms. Here is a simple method to help ground yourself back into the present moment and alleviate that feeling of stress and overwhelm. It's called the 5-4-3-2-1 method to help with all of your senses.

5-4-3-2-1
First, you will want to close your eyes and deep breathe in your nose and out your mouth three times to help calm you down. Now open your eyes and look at your surroundings.
5 - Look around for five things you can see.
Maybe it's a bright painting on your wall. Or the cobweb in the corner of your room. You might see a little stain on your carpet or the handle on one of your drawers. You may also see a flower starting to bloom ever so beautifully.
4 - Things you can touch
The fabric on your pants. The texture of your work desk. The smooth cover of that book you are reading. Or the feel of the paper within your notebook.
3 - Things you can hear
The ticking of the clock. The sound of someone honking their horn. The birds are singing outside your window.
2 - Things that you can smell
The scent of your coffee. The fresh scent of your shirt you have on.
1 - Emotion that you feel Calm
Smile and take it all in. You are now back in the present moment.
