Depression sucks, I know. But there are ways to overcome it. But you need to have some serious faith going on, in order to pull yourself out of it.
Do I Fake it Till I Make It?
No!
No one likes a fake, that includes our subconscious mind. Everyone can spot a fake from a mile away, this will not serve you, or your nervous system well. But by changing just one word, everything can align.
Faith It Till I Make It!
This is a powerful perspective switch.
Let's break down how I have come to view depression, and also helped save my own life through understanding on very deep levels of what was happening within me.

Depression = Negative
This can be negative thoughts, negative emotions, negative world views..., Just flat out negative in and around life.
Karma = Action
Thoughts create emotions (and vice versa)
Emotions create actions
Actions create Karma
So it all begins with our thoughts, and what we Choice to think about. Our second brain is in our Gut (some say it's our first brain). So make sure you are eating foods that are good for you, and make sure you are getting plenty of water to keep your brain hydrated.
This knowledge becomes an aspect of your faith in understanding. Not until you start experiencing results will it then become an over-standing to you. So dive real deep from within.
Environment is crucial
Look around your environment. How is your home looking? What about your bedroom? Looking good, looking happy? Bringing good memories to you everywhere you look within your home? This is huge on the psyche, which does affect our states of being.
Affirmations
Hang Affirmations on your walls, and put some around your work desk as well. This helps reprogram the subconscious mind and helps keep us in positive states of being throughout the day, each day. This creates subtle change over time.
Sunlight
How much sunlight are you getting each day? Is your home open and lit up? Or dark, and closed down? Open up your blinds and windows, bringing light into the home. Also, make sure you are getting outside and exposing yourself to the sun as well.
Sunlight produces vitamin D. Just 10-30 minutes a day should be enough to help charge you back up in life. So get out into some nature. Even if that nature is just your front driveway.
Review:
We got you eating, staying hydrated with water, keeping the brain wet. We are bringing light into your home where you are. Plus we are getting you to get outside in the sun, and seeing some nature around you. I know depression runs deep, and you may want to laugh this off at first. But these are the first steps in getting your mind back on track.
Will it fix everything?
Absolutely Not!
But it will be the starting process to start functioning again, and slowly bring you back to life.
Always keep faith within you. By holding onto some sort of hope within Life, that is what will pull you out. Just keep seeking, and never give up on yourself.
