This one is very challenging at first. The object of this game is to make it 21 days with zero complaints.
How this works, get a bracelet or a rubber band and place it around one of your wrists. Go throughout your day normally and just be extra observant of your words you use that day, and each day of the 21-day experiment.
When you catch yourself complaining about ANYTHING…!
Uh oh…
Time to take that bracelet or rubber band and switch wrists.
Your 21 days now start over again.
This game sounds easy but is a lot more challenging than one thinks. But it will help build your muscles in keeping your mouth shut and paying A LOT closer attention to your words that you use on a daily basis. If you take this experiment seriously, this will change your life and reality, which will create more noticeable manifestations in your life.
Why? Because when we are no longer cranky to be around and always in a state of victim mode, then people tend to like being around us more and more. When people actually like to spend more time with us, as we uplift them with our words. People start paying more attention to us, and when people pay more attention to us, they start to overstand our needs in life. When people overstand, each other’s needs in life, then we hear and recognize things to help one another where the other falls short in life.
Things just seem to kind of open up in and around our lives. It’s pretty beautiful, but we Must get through this basic challenge in order to recognize this. Before we recognize it though, we will notice a lot of anger, frustration, and pain. Because holy crap!!!
Do I always talk like this? Am I always this negative and full of complaints?
To answer that question…
Yes, you are.
But it’s ok. We all are until we pay closer attention to our own words, we choose to use in life. Yes, it is a choice to be positive or negative with our words.
But this is also a good sign you are experiencing these negative feelings through this experiment. As this shows growth, that you are now paying attention, and by paying attention we can change our negative habits of complaining and change to a more uplifting vocabulary. You will notice people starting to be happier around you in life. When other people are happy around us, it creates a circle of happiness.
